A police officer named Mike Franks put his dog Judge to sleep after seeing him suffer from Cushing’s disease. His death was met with the respects of an entire police unit in West Deptford, New Jersey. Judge was part of their K9 unit, a play on words of “canine", and was assigned to Franks to assist with over 200 missions. They were inseparable. He retired in 2013 after serving since 2007, and while Franks adopted him shortly after, Judge sadly became sick a year later. Judge served his duty all his life alongside his best human friend.
